Meet Dr. Kristen Pelczar
American Dental Board of Anesthesiology
Immediately after graduating dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Kristen Pelczar completed a 3-year residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She received extensive training in hospital-based anesthesia, as well as experience in critical care medicine, emergency pediatric medicine, internal medicine, and more. This involved training at numerous hospitals across the city of Pittsburgh, including the well-renowned Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Pelczar has been in private practice for the last five years, providing safe anesthesia to 2,600+ patients.
She is actively involved as a participating member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists (ASDA), as well as a diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA).
Dr. Pelczar is on the national board of directors of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA)- an organization of dentists and specialists that practice anesthesia.
